I have never seen that side of the Goat Rock Wilderness and took many pictures. Spectacular but added a lot of difficulty. I have never hiked north of Old Snowy on the PCT and it was more beautiful than I hoped. One advantage to section hiking is that you can hike the portions of the PCT at their optimum.
